I purchased this laptop along with Microsoft Home and Student 2016. I have added no apps nor downloaded any new files since purchasing. In fact, I've uninstalled some of the apps that came with the computer, because I keep getting a "low storage" warning. I knew the GB space was low, but had I known that it wouldn't be enough to run even the stock apps and basic Microsoft Office programs, I would have made a different decision. I am not very tech-aware, outside of the basics, so a warning of some sort that I might want more storage space before purchasing would have been helpful.

Sometimes my computer locks up in the mornings. The only way that I can get it to function again is to pull out the battery. Also I keep getting popups about low disc space. Is this a virus or what. I never had this problem with my old computer. It seems that quality has gone down

This is a terrible product, and I will never purchase a Dell computer again. Despite only adding Microsoft Office and McAfee, this computer has so little memory that it is impossible to perform any tasks. Internet pages will sometimes not load and will randomly close, and there is not enough memory to download security updates. Even though I have tried to reset it to the factory settings, it will not reset.

I cannot understand all the rave reviews here. They must be from people who have never owned a nice laptop. The screen is horrible. I mean absolutely horrendous. At 100% brightness it is really dark and washed out. You can barely see photos or videos. About every 30 minutes or so the screen goes blank then comes back on with the message "The Intel HD graphics driver has stopped responding but has successfully restarted." When I plug in headphones the sound still comes through the speakers making headphones useless. Last but not least, this laptop is slow, and I mean SLOOOOOOOW! It takes 2 to 3 minutes for a simple website to load. You sit there waiting before you can even scroll down and click on a link. Please don't waste your money on this flimsy little toy. For the same price you can get the HP Strean 13.3 inch. It s a little smaller screen, but it has a bright and clea picture and runs much faster and smoother.

unless you read the fine print in the support page for the spec sheet on this laptop you would assume that you could install a hard drive or SSD in this. No where on the product page dose it state that eMM models (all of them for the 14IN there are no hard drive models) do not have hard drive connectors or ports. the service guide for the 3451 shows you how to install a hard drive. the service page for my device lists 2.5 inch internal drives as accessory, we order one and wait for it to come in , end up over the 30 day limit on returns and end up with a unit dell wont authorize for a return. if you want a laptop that has no expandable storage comes with a almost full hard drive. windows needs 5gb free to operate, the min install of windows uses 20gb and the storage is only 26gb after format. leaving 1 gb for updates and any office software you may need to install. your only option for larger storage is usb disk thumb drives or an sd card all that are horribly slow to be used as primary storage. a 32gb eMM is useless for windows 10, 8 or 7 as they all need 20gb min space for install. DO NOT BUY any 32gb emm System with windows 10 you will be sorry and if you are even 1 day over the 30 day return limit you will be SOL. i will never recommend a dell product ever again! and i will never buy another one. they used to be beater than the competition not any more.
