Recently I was on the lookout for a smaller device; one which was portable, modern and could handle everyday tasks such as web browsing and word processing. I got the gray version and as soon as I unboxed it, I knew it was a perfect match. The size is fantastic and I can easily carry it to work with me. The keyboard is also a good size and I can type pretty fast on it. For such a small device I was surprised it also came with 3 USB ports and a HDMI port. Another bonus was the touch screen interface that responds quite well. The ability to rotate a total 360 is also a nifty feature to have. That being said, the performance of the laptop is decent. I am able to web browse and use a variety of programs at the same time. The 500GB hard drive provides lots of space for my storage needs. However the laptop does lag a bit when in need of updates, setting it up took quite a while before it was running smoothly. Overall it's the perfect solution for persons who prefer smaller devices. Keep in mind that a bit of patience is required when setting up or installing firmware updates.

We bought this laptop 11/27/17 for a Christmas gift. After 3 months the keys started coming off. We contacted Walmart, they said contact Dell, so I did. They said the year warranty did not cover the keyboard....totally ridiculous!! They wanted me to send back they would look at it & send and estimate for repair. We bought the Dell because we thought it was a better company....WRONG. They should have replaced the computer .....evidently defective or so cheaply made.

Unfortunately, I can't think of one good thing about this 2 in 1 laptop/tablet. The biggest issue with it is that it is SLOW. It takes forever to completely boot up. From the time that I turn it on to the time I click on a simple application such as Chrome or even a folder, it takes approximately 5 minutes to open. I have no idea what all the background processes are that are running, but it is ridiculous how slow this thing run. Second, using this as a tablet is quite cumbersome. The power button is VERY sensitive and I can't count the number of times that I've been in tablet mode and accidentally pressed the power button and the thing goes into sleep mode, or even fully turns off on occasion. Third, while in tablet mode, the feel of the keyboard on the other side is very unappealing. All in all, I"m very disappointed with this product. The biggest gripe I have about it is how dreadfully slow it is, if I knew about this in advance I wouldn't have financed it.

I can’t rate this laptop any higher than 2 stars when their so called premium feature, CORTANA, does not work. The Cortana feature is there but she can neither speak nor respond to me. which, I guess, kind of makes it pretty useless. This might be one of those catch 22 situations, that is, you need Cortana in order to find Cortana. Yes, there are ‘solutions’ on the web, but they basically involve the tearing down and reloading of other different features. I don’t want to jeopardize what is working for a seemingly ‘try this, try that’, shot in the dark approach. Which likely wouldn’t work anyway. Anyway a question for Dell. Why not just load a working, hit the ground running CORTANA in the first place? Or is that possible?

Hello, I received my Dell (Inspiron 11-3168 - 2.1.1) But for some reason everytime i go to charge it, the next time I get on it - this thing is up on my screen that says "The AC power adapter wattage and type cannot be determined. The battery may not charge. The system will adjust the performance to match the power available. Please connect a Dell 45 W AC adaptor or greater for best system performance. NOTE: This warning can be disabled in BIOS setup." I'm just wondering why this is happening.. this is the charger the computer came with. Please help.
